New Play Submissions
BBTG accepts new full length plays for consideration in our main stage season each year. If you are a playwright interested in submitting a play for consideration please submit by Dec. 31 of this year for consideration for next year. Each play must include the author's full name, address, email address, phone number and agent's contact number (where applicable). If the play has been produced previously, please include any reviews and production photos with your submission. You will only be contacted if we have selected your play for our season.
15-Minute Play Festival
Each Year BBTG presents six brand new 15-minute plays from playwrights across the country. If you are interested in submitting a 15-minute play for consideration in this festival, please see the guidelines for submission below:
- Plays should be no longer than 15 minutes in length
- All submission must include playwright's name, address, phone number and email address
- There will be no compensation if your play is selected to be produced in the festival
- No scripts will be returned
- You will only be contacted if your play has been selected for the festival
- A $5 reader's fee is required for each submitted script
- Small cast, simple set scripts preferred
- Samuel French style manuscripts only
